Current Responsibilities
Robert Kramp provides strategic oversight to a team of 10 Jones Lang LaSalle research analysts supporting brokerage teams in eight states, with a specific focus on the firm’s global headquarters city of Chicago. Robert’s main objective is to leverage the firm’s and research group’s market knowledge and expertise proactively through business development efforts, enhanced research product and collateral offerings and market

visibility.


Experience
Robert joined Jones Lang LaSalle in 2012 as a regional research lead following over four years in economic development and research with the Greater Houston Partnership.  In that role, Robert marketed and developed 10-county Houston, TX region as a business magnet for expanding and attracting companies that resulted in new job creation and capital investment. Before joining the Greater Houston Partnership, Robert spent nearly 8 years with Grubb & Ellis Company as the Vice President & Director for the firm’s National Research & Client Services Group.  During that time, Robert led the strategic direction of the firm’s support platform and the overall accountability for the local research and marketing functions. The national position required oversight and management of ~100 research and marketing professionals and worked closely with senior management and corporate business line leaders in areas of strategic business initiatives, business development and client relations.

Education and Affiliations
Robert has a bachelor’s degree in political science and sociology summa cum laude and a master’s degree in economic development and entrepreneurship both from the University of Houston.
